Featuring Chuck Forman
What is your major, and why did you decide to pursue this
degree?
English on a pre-law track. I love literature in movies, films, music, books, and news. I started blogging in 10th Grade and fell in love ever since. I love reading up on laws and analyzing Supreme Court opinions, reading legal reviews, and keeping up with political and legal news, and the idea of analysis and critical thinking really draws me to the field.
Why did you choose Binghamton University?
The big Jewish community, it’s the public ivy, and my two sisters went here and loved it!
What is your favorite book? Why?
Pitch anything by Oren Klaff because it taught me the fundamentals to sales which I will take with me through my whole life and professional career.
Where are you from? Where did you go to high school?
I am originally from Englewood, NJ, but I live in New York City now. I have lived in 5 states, and for high school, I went to American Hebrew Academy.
What do you love about Jewish life on campus?
The great social aspects of it, everyone is really nice, affable, and welcoming. There is always someone new to connect with.
Do you have any siblings?
Three. My Two sisters are Binghamton Alumni, and my brother goes to the University of Michigan.
Do you have a hobby? Why do you love it?
I like to work out, meditate, read news and legal journals, I enjoy investing and reading about Stocks, Bonds, Crypto, Real Estate, and everything in between.
What is your favorite Jewish food?
Lox and Cream Cheese Bagel. Very expensive but there is nothing like it.
What is your favorite food?
Donuts. They are bad for the body, good for the neshuma.
If you were a breakfast cereal, which one would you be and why?
Reeses Puffs because they taste good and they have good marketing.
What is your favorite Jewish childhood memory?
Having guests over to my house and playing sports in my backyard.
What is your favorite Chabad experience?
Playing in the Gameroom after dinner is over.
What's your favorite lockdown experience?
Working on building my blog instead of doing schoolwork. Writing and researching with all the extra free time I had.
