I am majoring in psychology. I have spent the last two summers working with kids, and I want to continue doing so in the future. I also find the subject of psychology really interesting.
Why did you choose Binghamton University?
I chose Binghamton because of the vibrant Jewish community and excellent academic programs. I have met so many amazing people through the Binghamton Jewish community, and I have really found a home for myself here.
What is your favorite book? Why?
My favorite book is Moneyball by Michael Lewis, which tells the story of how a Major League Baseball team was able to succeed on a very low budget. I am a big baseball fan, and the book taught me so much about baseball and about making the most of difficult situations.

I am from Riverdale, New York, and I went to SAR High School.
What do you love about Jewish life on campus?

Probably either homemade challah or vegetarian matzah ball soup.

I’m a big fan of bagels. My go-to order is an everything bagel with cream cheese.
What is your favorite Jewish childhood memory?
I always loved going to my cousins’ house for the seders. Pesach is one of my favorite holidays, and I have so many great childhood Pesach memories with my family.
What is your favorite Chabad experience?
I really enjoyed the mega challah bake last year. It was a great way to bring the community together, and I had some delicious challah for that Shabbat.
What's your favorite lockdown experience?
During the summer of 2020, I would frequently go biking in order to exercise and get out of the house. One Sunday I biked 65 miles with my dad and a couple of family friends, from my home in Riverdale all the way to Camp Ramah in the Berkshires. It was an exhausting day, but it was extremely rewarding and a lot of fun.
