Good-Bye Shabbaton

Hundreds of students gathered for the "Good-Bye" Shabbaton at Chabad House, an annual and much heralded tradition, at which the graduating students are honored and the underclassmen gather for one last Shabbos for the year. The evening began with mocktails and hors d'oeuvres during which time the Class of 2008 photo was taken, followed by candle lighting, kaballat Shabbat prayers and dinner. During dinner many seniors stood to share reflections on their collegiate expression, their Jewish identity and the role Chabad played in their lives. After dinner many students lingered to sing and spend more time together.
