Four hundred female students gathered at Chabad for the fifth annual Fashion for a Cure event which raised $5000 for Sharsheret, a charity that provides support and services to Jewish women with breast cancer and raised much needed awareness about this important subject.
The awesome program included a performance by the Pegs, an artfully acted monologue by Carly Rubenfeld, a moving vocal solo by Ariel Brio, two riveting first hand testimonials by breast cancer survivors Meryl Sasnowitz and Sandy Paston and of course, the fantastic Fashion Show. The desserts were awesome as well! Photos by J. King, R. Panitz, and D. Hirschfeld.
