Rabbi Zalman Chein accompanied by BU students visited numerous local nursing homes reading the Megillah and spreading Purim cheer. This is one of the many projects of the Barry Raff Maasim Tovim Foundation.

"Town" and "Gown" came together for a night of great celebration marking the 30th Anniversary of Chabad of Binghamton. Guests of honor, Michael Wright and Sandra and Roy Paston were recognized for their enormous contributions to Chabad and a Sofer, a ritual scribe, was on hand to enscribe letters and words in the newly begun Binghamton Legacy Torah which was commissioned to mark this special milestone.

The "Goodbye" shabbaton is always bitter sweet with the graduating class gathering for cocktails before taking the " the class picture " and later the remarks by seniors during the Shabbat meal.
The evening stretched into the wee hours of the morning with no one wanting the special moment to end.

The class of 2016 gathered for an elegant sendoff ceremony at Chabad
Binghamton President Harvey Stenger and Vice President for Student Affairs, Brian Rose,offered their reflections and best wishes, Dr. Jon Hershkowitz offered greetings on behalf of Chabad alumni and Nathan Kaplan was the student speaker. Special presentations were awarded as well as gifts to all of the graduates.
