For the very first time, Chabad held its own version of "Chopped" with teams competing and being judged on a serious level.

BU's famous Mega Challah Bake took a different twist year with the program held virtually with students as well as alumni joining to "feel the rise" from their locations everywhere.
The program featured instruction and inspiration from Instagram celebrity "Busy in Brooklyn" as well as greetings and musings from BU alumni, many of whom have children in Binghamton currently. The three spearheads of this fabulous event are all legacy kids! How's that for braiding the strands of our lives together?
In case you were wondering: The Challah was delicious!

True, there is a global pandemic to contend with but Chabad did not want students to miss out on a beloved and delicious tradition.
This year’s Rock and Ribs had to take place in shifts to accommodate Covid regulations but was just as fun for participants.
And every opportunity to gather is so profoundly appreciated.

This year was different. In the face of Covid 19 Binghamton stayed open and so did Chabad. Chabad provided warm inspiring services – socially distanced – and provided hundreds of students with traditional, delicious holiday meals including Brisket, of course! It was a sweet start to a new year we hope will bring all good things.

Sunday, September 13, 2020 saw the formal dedication of the Camren Vilinsky Shul. A deeply emotional program with remarks by President Harvey Stenger, Camren's fraternity brothers, Chabad Rabbis and Camren's parents served as a powerful testament to the memory and spirit of Camren.
A special award was presented to Camren, posthumously by, Dianne Gray, director of Services for Students with Disabilities at Binghamton University who spoke glowingly about Camren's personality.

This year's Mitzvah Marathon to honor those who fell on 9/11 was brought to new heights with the city of Binghamton joining Chabad in organizing the largest Blood Drive in the area. It was held in the Binghamton arena. Other mitzvah opportunities included purchasing food to be given to CHOW, purchasing Challah to benefit other charities and buying a mezuzah to affix on one's door.

Even Covid could not put a kibosh on Chabad's annual welcome event for freshmen and transfers, the Jew'au cruise.
Although it meant making some changes, it was still a great time for all.
