On September 14, 2008 the new Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life at Binghamton University was dedicated in a spectacular afternoon of celebration.
Over 500 people—alumni (and their children), students, parents of students, community members, supporters, university administrators and faculty—joined together and enjoyed an uplifting and moving program.
The afternoon included a luncheon, the dedication of a Holocaust Memorial Monument built on the premises of the Chabad Center, ribbon cutting ceremony, tributes & greetings by speakers and a sumptuous dessert buffet. It was an afternoon that will long be remembered.
