Chabad Students in partnership with SDT and SAE raised over $13,000 worth of toys to be distributed through Chai Lifeline to children being treated for cancer in NY area hospitals.
While Chai Lifeline works with hundreds of partner organizations, the BU drive raised the most money ever raised through a toy drive.
At the culminating event celebrating the drive, the toys were displayed, greetings of appreciation were offered to a young man who has benefited from the services provided by Chai Lifeline, the Crosbys performed, participants decorated greeting cards for the children receiving the gifts and everyone enjoyed Chanukah donuts and Starbucks coffee

Saying Good Bye in Style
What can be more fun than Midnight madness crossed with the first night of Chanukah?
A huge crowd enjoyed bagels, shmears, smoothies, plus potato latkes and donuts, lighting the Menorah and more than anything else ?each other's company. No one wanted to leave the last event of the semester.

Question: What can be better than making delicious Hamantashen and Rugelach from scratch- some to take home and even sweeter, some to distribute to area elders in adult care facilities?
Answer: Not much!
Over 70 students braved yet another winter storm to bake up a storm of Hamantashen and Rugelach.
They enjoyed the activity and the cookies and the fact that some of what they baked was distributed to residents in area nursing homes. A real sweet deal all around!
